About the Book

Tess has dreamed of having her very own horse her whole life, one just like her toy horse, Mina. She has imagined riding a beautiful, black horse with a flowing mane, doing all the things horses can do, as well as some things regular horses can’t.

Will she find a way to make her dream come true? Is her dream really just about how her horse will look and what it can do, or is there something more important at the heart of it?

Dedication

To my parents, who allowed me to be a horse-loving tomboy and spend my summers riding from dawn to sunset.

About the Author

Theresa lives in western Montana with her two Great Danes, two cats, and Cowboy the horse. She started riding horses at the age of 4 and has had a deep connection with them ever since. Her love of animals has not only inspired her stories but has also been the catalyst to her taking an active role in helping animals in need.

Through charitable donations to local sanctuaries and collaborative efforts with an expert horse trainer, Theresa has made significant contributions to improve the lives of horses.

This is the first story in the Dream Big Tales series and is centered around a real horse that found his way to a happy, safe, forever home. If you would like to donate to horse sanctuaries in your area, just enter “horse sanctuary” or “horse rescue” in your internet browser. Volunteering time is also a great way to become involved.
